In Vulnerability Ain’t My Thing I shared that I applied to the Plymouth Art Council’s 2023 Primavera Art Show this Spring.

I feel so honored that my drawing was accepted!

I had already prepared ‘the talk’ with my eldest about facing rejection and trying again because upon my application she told me she doesn’t like to ‘compete.’

My husband would say I was not being ‘a glass half full’ by planning a talk about rejection. He inspired the Milk & Cookies Med Snuggler 🙂

The drawing I submitted is not only my current logo, but also was my mother’s favorite bird. My mother, who passed away 8 years ago…yesterday.

Did I mention the title of the piece is “Rising?” I sure hope Splendiforous Life is doing just that.

Please bring your family and children to appreciate the incredible work of local artists from April 21st to May 20th at the Plymouth Community Center. And give a little swing by my little drawing! I’d love your good energy.
