Some colleagues are worth driving 45 minutes to reconnect with, after 3 years, even for only 1 hour…which turned into 4 hours (but that felt like 2 hours). Amiright?

I love people who hold a lot of passion for what they do…the kind of people propelled from within to give more of themselves to others who need it.

I once served on a board with this particular colleague. She is confident, smart, passionate, faithful, and bold. She will leave you wondering if you truly have enough purpose and meaning in your own work in mere minutes.

The amazing thing is that in only ten minutes she rephrased my ideas in new ways, shared thoughts on next steps, offered various forms of collaboration with her nonprofit, as well as her own ongoing support.

Go always where you can find goodness.
