Asking For Donations Is Scary

Asking for anything feels vulnerable (yet, here we are). Please peek at the fun ways individuals, companies, book clubs or friend groups can support our mission to craft more caring communities supporting mental wellness.

I so admire the nonprofit boards and staff, who spend their days finding and securing the grants and donations needed to continue their meaningful work. It is no small thing to ask, attain and maintain grant money and donations.

In Vulnerability Ain’t My Thing I mentioned how I submitted art work into a spring art show. I realized that putting myself out there, while intimidating, can also be exhilarating and potentially lead to so many wonderful things.

I have so many questions, but the biggest one is below. Will you give me feedback?

Many of us are drowning in excessive social media posts. I’d rather communicate only where there is something important to say.

In business school we learned that while there are many factors to success, the art of story telling and reaching people where they are, is key to human motivation. Thank you for coming along with me.

And in the theme of vulnerability, below is a button where you can support this work.

Also, I will be in person at the Plymouth Artisan Market November 18th, 10am-5pm. Come see me!

With thanks,

Janessa
