Canvas Rebel recently reached out to ask if I would contribute to their publication as an artist in the community. This came shortly after being interviewed by Minnesota Voyageur.

Whether they were just filling their site with content or not, I was glad to be given the opportunity to share about the unique challenges the art and handmade community faces.

While it’s impossible to speak on behalf of other artists, I felt very comfortable boiling it down to society having very little time and attention to spread around, with the speed we are living our lives (amongst other things).

While it can likely be said by all industries, it can be particularly challenging in the art and handmade world.
