To make a Granny Square Envelope you need only a few materials! You can find them online or at a local craft store. This pattern is a fun and functional gift to give someone in need of kindness. You can tuck a note inside or your person can store a meaningful keepsake inside.
- Medium Weight Yarn
- Size 5 Crochet Hook (or close to it)
- Crochet needle (to weave in your ends)
- Scissors

Pattern
Row 1: Magic ring
Row 2: chain 2, add 15 Double Crochets (DC) into the magic ring for a total of 16 around.
Row 3: Slip Stitch into 1st DC and then Puff Stitch into each Double Crochet around (16) and Slip Stitch
Row 4: Cluster Stitch into each Puff Stitch around (16) and Slip Stitch
Row 5/1st Corner: Chain 2, DC x2 into same stitch, chain 3, DC x3 into same stitch
Row 6/Sides 1-3: in next space (HDC x3, SC x3 into next space, HDC x3 into next space, DC x3 into next space, Chain 3, DC into same space) x 3
Row 7/Last Corner: HDC x3, SC x3 into next space, HDC x3 into next space, chain 3, slip stitch to 1st stitch in Row 5 & weave in tail
Envelope: fold 3 corners together, sew Back Loops Only (BLO) together from one corner to the center, to the other corner and weave in ends.
Tie: Chain 50 to make a tie.
