To make a Beanie Stress Ball you need only a few materials and they are super easy! They are a lovely gift you can make for someone you love, in their favorite colors – especially when they are having a worry or three.
Materials
- 2 Medium Weight Yarns (any two colors you want to mix) or 1 Chunky Yarn
- Size 5 mm Crochet Hook (or close to it)
- Black or Navy Beans (to fill your stress ball) – find them at any grocery store!
- Crochet Needle (to weave ends in at finish)

Row 1: Magic Ring
Row 2: 5 SC into the ring (5)
Row 3: 2 SC into each loop around (10)
Row 4: (1 SC, 2 SC) repeat into each loop around (15) **
**for thinner yarns do 2 SC into each loop around. You will end with (20)
Row 5-6: repeat row 4 (15) *(20)
Row 7: SC every other stitch & fill ball with navy beans or another larger sized bean.
Row 8: Repeat row 7. Add more beans as needed.
Row 9: Repeat row 8 to close ball, add more beans as needed, and weave tail in with a crochet needle.
