Her Studio

Months before making the decision to leave my career, I was standing in line at Michael’s with water color books and I happened to see a magazine titled “In Her Studio.”

Intrigued, I picked up a copy.

On the front, was a woman deeply emerged in her creative process and bathed in the pink evening sun. She was sitting at a heavy, old, desk that seemed to be full of secret compartments and false drawers. She wore a soft sweater, a long skirt, boots and her hair gently swept up.

I wanted that.

And now, after four days taken over by my #sickchild, I finally have a studio growing for Splendiforous Life to inspire. Just wait until you see the nature I’ll be pulling in to the space soon!

Cheers,

Janessa
